Seedpod Giraffe Sculpture Handmade in Zimbabwe

The body of this giraffe is made from the fallen seedpod of the star chestnut tree; the legs, neck, and head are crafted from wire, putty, and natural materials, then hand-painted to reflect the markings of the animal. Each one is made by artist Raina Mazwiembiri in Zimbabwe no two are exactly alike. "Twiza" is the Shona word for giraffe.
