The Sadza process begins with a porridge maize paste applied by hand to hand-woven cotton bark weave, left to dry in the sun, then scraped away after dyeing to reveal a crackled dots and lines pattern beneath. Minimal and graphic, made to mix with others in the collection. Made in a Zimbabwe workshop that employs both men and women through fair, long-term craft employment.
