The Sadza process begins with a porridge maize paste applied by hand to hand-woven cotton bark weave, left to dry in the sun, then scraped away after dyeing to reveal a crackled pattern beneath. This cover arrives in a clean black and white geometric pattern minimal enough to anchor a sofa, considered enough to hold its own. Made in a Zimbabwe workshop that employs both men and women through fair, long-term craft employment.
