Buhera Basket XXLarge, Traditional Zimbabwean Weave

From the dry, low-lying district of Buhera in southeastern Zimbabwe, these baskets are woven by women artisans using an ancient technique passed down through generations with local cane. Each basket is tightly coiled and unique in shape the organic irregularity is part of what makes them extraordinary. They look best grouped in different sizes. Note: measured by contour, not straight dimensions.
